Sea sculptures

I am wondering how many more of these Norfolk pictures I can get away with, but having just taken my camera for a walk and come back with nothing but a bag of dog poo on the card, Im sticking here for the time being.

I had hoped to be inspired by something plastic, or maybe get some selfie creativity going, but focusing on discarded litter has left me in a miserable mood. Now I doubt that a plastic bag of dog poo, overwritten with 'THIS IS SHIT' would please my readers, so I hope you enjoy the wind farm instead.

worth viewing on black if you have a mind to.
Nice layers (of the sea!) Nice effect. Best I don't comment on dogs - I'm a cat person! :)

I like you composition here, the layers and the misty wind turbines.

Love the layers

Beautiful

We could see that wind farm on the way back from Norway on the ship. It's quiet amazing.

oh my well i can't comment on the shit obviously, since we haven't had the honour of viewing, but i just love this. i like those different layers of blue, and the way the turbines seem to be engaging in some kind of elaborate ritual. not sure if it's a mating game, or enemies approaching. very well composed. and is that a hint of sunset or -rise on the sculptures?

Pretty blues!

I like how this picture doesn't try to hide that fact that it's a picture and yet at the same time has the feel of a painting by a minimalist artist. Good shot- and yes much preferred over dog doo.

Lovely layers.

Painterly Layers of Minimalism. Wow.

I do like the blue layers here - super capture.

Yes, great on black, very nice.

Love them or hate them, they photograph so well. Love the layers of blue

@ivan thanks for your comment Ivan. I was attracted to the additional layers provided by the change in colour of the sea.

@carolmw Thank you Carol. Yes, the layers were begging to be noticed.

@judithdeacon the wind turbines are distant and huge, I think that is the reason for their lack of clarity. Thanks for the comment.

@fbailey I'm glad you approve. I was drawn to the layers.

@dide thank you Dianne. They do have a certain beauty.

@janemartin Yes - more extensive and imposing than would appear from this picture. Quite an amazing feat of construction apart from anything else.

@pistache Ha - I didn't even get around to viewing the discarded photo myself. Fun that you should see the turbines as engaging with each other. I guess it could be an attraction or aggression which ever way you want to interpret. But as it is a calm and serene photo I like your idea of the mating game! The yellow is painted around the base of the turbines. Thanks for observing so closely Clare.

@kwind thank you - I thought so too.

@olivetreeann I wanted to emphasise the minimalist quality, so rather than my usual increase of clarity on the slider, I dropped it somewhat. Thank you for your observations Ann.

@haskar thank you for your comment - I took it for the layers.
September 17th, 2018
@fotoblah much appreciated. I thought it to be minimalist and edged on the painterly effect to emphasise that.
September 17th, 2018
@flowerfairyann thanks Ann - glad you liked it.
September 17th, 2018
@sandrajo Thank you Sandi. Kind of you to say so.
September 17th, 2018
@suzanne234 I agree, they are majestic and make a good photo.
September 17th, 2018
Fabulous! I like how they are so subtle in the image.
September 17th, 2018
tell me this is not a composite. that you just were so clever finding this spectacular vantage point to make it look like the wind turbines were floating off the sea. too bad theme-aqua wasn't last week. this would've been a winner! love love love it!
September 18th, 2018
@summerfield oh thank you so much. I rather like it myself actually. No composite - just as seen with the clarity turned down and the colour and vibrancy nudged a little.
