May I join you?

These often catch my eye as potential for a photograph, but also they often disappoint, being less appealing than in real life. Only on this occasion, I was quite pleased with the stripped bare plant structure against the background infused with berry colour and a little bokeh.

I left the corner of the adjacent plant in the frame, it seemed to be reaching out to be a part of the conversation.
said one Cow Parsnip to the other :-), nice bokeh background

ha your title tickled me, and drew attention to the shy approach for attention from that little stem ... just delightful image ... love the detail of the foreground structure against that beautiful bokeh

I think these are more striking than when they're in flower. They're like little fireworks exploding. I love the dreamy background here too.

Very effective... I love the fragment of the adjacent plant. Amazing how an element on the edge of the frame always pulls the eye toward it. The pastel colours soften this image. I would do a b/w conversion to make it more stark.... obviously! :-)
