Winter fluff by helenhall

Winter fluff

I have a series of about eight of these images which I have entitled winter fluff, and have no idea which to post, so just picked the first one.

From my woodland excursion at the weekend. Sometimes I wander around for a good while before seeing anything at all, and then one small thing may draw just enough attention for me to try it for size with the camera window after which, I can't stop being captivated by this and that. It is as if I have put a new pair of glasses in which I see things in a completely different way. Sometimes those glasses just go missing.

This fluff is what got me going on Sunday. For which, I am most grateful. Does anyone know what it really is?
Loved your narrative Helen ! Made me laugh the part about it’s like putting on new glasses and that sometimes those glasses go missing. Been there ! Have no idea what it is but I certainly am glad it caught your eye

It has become a terribly invasive weed here in New Zealand, like most of the introduced species lol..there is a constant eradication effort to no avail... is it a problem in the UK?

Can't help you with the identification, but I can relate to your commentary! Pretty shot.

Evil is often disguised in a pretty appearance... Maybe it's not by chance that this works great on black! @kali66

It looks beautiful in the sunlight no wonder it caught your attention.

I just love 365, there is always somebody who can identify a plant or flower for us.
