Ever since seeing the otters at the start of the year, whenever I pass by the boating lake, I pause briefly to see if there is any sign that they might be about again. And, more often than not, in the exact same spot that the otters came to swallow their catch, stands this heron, just watching and waiting.
So as the sun was out when I passed by earlier in the week, I thought it worth another heron shot.
