Feeling Frosty

These seed heads look frosty enough without an actual layer of frost coating them. But on the icy morning of Thursday, everything was coated in thick frost.

By Friday, there was a layer of snow, but as I was debating whether to go out with the camera, the sleet started coming down heavily so I opted for the supermarket run instead. By lunchtime, the snow had all but gone and I didn't get a further opportunity for a shot.

I thought I would go with the black and white month of February, so against my better judgement, the frosty spiky plant has now become completely colourless.
Great details!
