Popped out in the brief hiatus in the rain today to find something in the garden to capture. Yes, that is how inspired I am right now.
It seems that our garden contains mostly wild, and unwanted specimens. There are now forget-me-nots in the lawn and this wild garlic has appeared in the border.
We must get that new garden project underway. .. but how to be rid of those persistent Spanish bluebells?
I think if the wildflowers are pretty and they grow without any extra work, why fight nature? Let her take care of the gardens for you! These are really pretty and I like how you've captured them all leaning toward the sun.
I like these in B & W and love the slant on them. I know they can be invasive in the garden, but when you find a woodland carpeted with them, they are glorious.
Chill...! This looks like a special treat to me. Take delight in whatever comes up is my un-asked for advice ... maybe a little judicious encouragement or discouragement here and there. (We do the latter with nettles but don't want to do away with them completely because there are some birds that like them.) That's our way to a varied and happy garden. Far more satisfying than total control freakery which is how I see conventional gardening! As for the bluebells I can understand the desire for native species only but the Spanish and the hybrids are still lovely.
