It seems that this is the place to come if you want your portrait drawn in Montmatre. The pitches command a high rent and the artists charge handsomely, so pick your artist carefully.
Several of our party paid for this experience, but I preferred to get my own pictures through the camera.
PS - if you haven't heard from me in a while, I haven't abandoned you, I am slowly catching up person by person.
I had my portrait done in Australia years ago and was so horrified at the result, I refused to pay him. Bit naughty but good grief! This lady looks as if she is rather good!
