Me and my hound by helenhall

Me and my hound

Just a silly post, left over from last week's One Week Only challenge when I was trying to create a silhouette picture in broad daylight with one hand making patterns and the other trying to control my hand held camera (or in this instance, phone, - that being the only option given the tortuous position I was putting myself in to try and get the horizon lined up properly and at least a fair part of the hound above it).

I had to black out my hand in photoshop to create the silhouette artificially.

What I love about challenges, is that they have you doing the most ridiculous things that you would never otherwise attempt. And I can just about manage to take this on for a week or so.

I will have to try and seek out a challenge to get me inspired this week.

Whist we are talking challenges, there is just one week left of the current ETSOOI challenge, and I would really love to see your entries - on the theme of shapes.

I was trying to do the same thing with a frame yesterday, didn’t work out well. I think the iPhone is better for this. Cute fun play though!

At first I thought it was the forced perspective shot as "the hound" looks like it's about to take a bite out to fhe horizon! Good try Helen!
