The riverside meadow was rich in butterflies on this particular morning and I could have lingered long, but having been out for a couple of hours already, with no breakfast inside me, I made the judgement to return home lest my husband thought I had come to some misfortune.
And now I find myself in Cheshire. A journey necessitated in order to take over care for my father since his health took a sudden turn for the worse and he can not be alone. So many difficult decisions as this is an option not devoid of risks, but he needs help and it is as simple as that - my sister has been with Dad for 10 days and I have never seen anyone in so much need of respite. Social distancing within the house is going to be very hard work - and probably impossible. But I will do my best to keep everything as safe as I can without hindering his care.
wonderful focus on a beautiful subject. so sorry to hear that your father is unwell. difficult news at the best of times, and made so much more complicated with the need to distance. wishing you strength for the journey ahead
I'm so sorry to hear that your father's health has declined- it's hard enough to be worried over that but then to have figure out what is best to do. You are doing the right thing though- and you (and your family) will give him the best care of anyone. Great butterfly shot- a fav for me!
