fox gloves

I am sharing more from my walks taken in Cheshire whilst caring for my Dad. I was able to get out on several days for an hour or so and found these to be restorative and uplifting times. It was with regret that I have now exchanged this rich and fertile countryside and returned to a dry and uncomfortably hot Bedford with the landscape that I have had such difficulty learning to enjoy.

So it is another two weeks here before taking my turn with Dad again. I find that I rarely get to view and comment on all the photos of all the projects that I follow but I do my best to keep up when I can.

These foxgloves were growing horizontally across the narrow path that leads round the valley and back down the hill that the 49 steps climb - Kelsall hill. It is a one hour circuit that makes a very pleasant circular walk from Dad's house. Up to a few months ago, Dad was able to do this himself - but it is clear that those days are now gone.
Lovely, feel for you and the longing of the landscape you live to be in.

I love foxgloves, they always remind me of childhood.

I like your composition. Your Dad sounds to be in a precarious and sad situation. It must be a wrench for your own family as well. Hugs
