by the pond at Mount Grace Priory

this was our stopping off place for a picnic lunch today en route North for our tour of the Outer Hebrides. We set out at 11 am after packing the car to the gunnels with camping gear, provisions and everything but the kitchen sink.

Within an hour the bright sunshine had turned to heavy rain which persisted for the rest of the day. A very muddy lunch stop and limited photo opportunities - this one taken from a garden shelter on the way back to the car park.
