Carmen was a transgender woman who was mayor of one of our towns and did a lot for gender equality. As part of the celebrations of the 30-year anniversary of the Homosexual Law Reform Bill coming into effect on August 8 they have created a likeness of her for the green lady on the street lights in cuba street.
