Last year when Gail & I were Myrtle Beach, SC , we heard about a special program BrookGreen Gardens http://www.brookgreen.org/ had every December - using candles and lights to highlight the gardens and the sculptures there. We made plans to see it this year.
I also got lucky that my get-pushed challenge this week was " I am thinking dark nights so festive lights" from Phil.
Later tonight, I will be adding two more shots from today in my other albums.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
@maggiemae Thank you Maggie, yes they are floating and I think you are right - that they think we are professionals if we use a tripod. Brookgreen Gardens does NOT allow commercial photography
What a great, clear shot and what a wonderful sight! I bet it was breathtaking. Well done Harry, very pleased that you were able to combine the challenge with a lovely trip out! :) (And I bet you made the security guard's day, giving him something to complain about!) =)
Hi Harry! I see you did your research!LOL (but what else should I expect?) My challenge to you is to go old school. Shoot through saran wrap, scarves, nylons etc (you don't have to go so far as nose grease!)
