As we went to pick up our daughter to take her to the apriport this morning, we saw two tom turkeys in full strut, something you don't see often. So, we pulled over. They immediately turned around and started walking away. That's when we noticed several hen turkeys and another tom, also strutting his feather, just a little ways away. Then, we noticed this doe eating the newly sprouting leaves. As the turkeys passed by, the deer looked at them and walked away with them. We laughed, wondering if these hens were saying, "Stranger danger, walk away!"
