Ornament down! by homeschoolmom

Ornament down!

We came home from looking at Christmas lights last night to find an ornament on the floor. Wonder how that got here, kitty? For some reason, our cat loves to "eat" our artificial Christmas tree. He can't seem to leave it alone. Evidence would suggest he had a snack while we were gone.
Filling in shots I forgot to upload.
Busted!! I guess kitty's in the doghouse!

@olivetreeann LOL! You'd think that by his 18th Christmas, he would remember that artificial trees make kitties sick. We even got a chia pet of grass for cats to distract him, and he ignored that, went straight for the Christmas tree. Goofy cat! LOL!

You can always depend on a few downed ornaments when you have cats and dogs around

@digitalrn At least this one was not breakable. His first Christmas, he jumped into our small Christmas tree, toppled it and broke the pole off at the base. It was decorated with all of my crystal ornaments from Germany. The second year, he knocked our bigger tree over, then a few days later my 1-year-old daughter pulled it over again. So, I picked my crystal ornaments away until my kids got older and the cat stopped jumping on the tree! LOL!

Mine left the tree alone this year, now if she'd quit knocking things off the shelf in the middle of the night I'd be happy. Heart attack when you are asleep. And yours looked so innocent in that pic.
