We live just off Fire Tower Road, which is named for the giant U.S. Forest Service fire tower right behind our subdivision. The left side is the view of the tower from our side yard. The right, I zoomed in from our backyard for a better view. And I got a two-for: I found rust!
@olivetreeann@digitalrn They staff that tower 24 hours a day, as far as I know. There are a lot of trees around us. @kwind From our yard it's harder to see. I had trouble finding it in the camera to get the picture, too! I need to go out on the road to get the full tower. It;s pretty high! @paulam@swilde Thanks!
@juliedduncan Thanks! It's something unusual, that's for sure. I can't say I've ever seen anything like that, except out in the middle of a forest. We don't live in the middle of a forest.
