RIP (Rusted, Impossible-to-clean, Probably-headed-for-the-dump)....we need a new grill. This one didn't survive a winter in NH even though it was in the garage and out of the weather. I have another rust picture, but I had to cook my 4th of July hamburgers and hot dogs on the stove in the kitchen! Holiday fail -- didn't check condition of grill before the holiday! LOL!
@digitalrn I love the ease of gas grills. We had one years ago. But, it just doesn't quite taste the same as charcoal. I thought about buying a gas grill to replace this one, but ended up getting one just like this one.
Our inherited gas grill (which was on its last legs when we got it and has lasted way longer than I expected) has rusted through in several spots but still has the gas part in tact. The only problem is everything else has fallen on top of it so the gas can't get out!! So for it's final season it has become a charcoal grill. LOL I hope I can replace it. Jeff is not so crazy about grilled things, but I really like them- especially on hot days when I don't feel like lighting the oven. Well, it looks like you made due for the 4th! Hopefully you'll be all set with another one by Labor Day!
@joansmor Yes, that definitely would have been preferable! LOL!
