On our way home from WV (Jan. 4), we got gas in Virginia for just $1.89 a gallon. I filled up my van for $40. I remember vividly, the pump shutting off automatically at $75 and my tank not being full. A welcome sight, especially since we've been on the road so much lately.
Nice. We drove a large SUV over our recent vacation and it always just cost us $40+ to fill (not completely, but still!). Lowest we paid was about $2.09, though.
@ladygator I'd be happy with that, too! @anazad511 That's about what we were paying in WV, too. Slightly less than that in NC. Too gad we couldn't take this price back to NC with us! LOL! @randystreat Unfortunately we haven't seen that price here in NC. There was a 60 cent difference in the gas we got on Saturday night in WV and on Sunday afternoon in VA. @tjchapa Neither did I. So glad it's finally dropping. @danette I know, we have a minivan and an extended cab pickup. Both get about 17 miles per gallon. Yuck. But, we couldn't fit out family into a smaller vehicle.
Wow- Jeff was thinking that we'd struck gold when we paid 2.50 on the way home from Michigan! Funny how the prices have such a wide range from state to state.

Our Gas- $1.39 per/Litre
Unleaded fuel- $1.50 per/Litre
Diesel- $1.60 per/Litre. We don't use the gallon.
A great shot,I would fill my tank too if it was that cheap.
