I wish I had time for my hobby! by homeschoolmom

I wish I had time for my hobby!

I saw someone post their hobby for today's word of the day, so I grabbed my camera and used that for today's inspiration. For Jan 4's word of the day: hobby. This is one of my hobbies (that I never have time for), as you can tell by all of the scrapbooks waiting to be filled, as well as the stack of completed pages above waiting to go into sleeves and then into albums. Those are some of my boys' Cub Scout years scrapbooked, not all but some of the years completed. That was the last time I got to scrapbook. And that was probably 2011. Sad but true. My youngest son has been a Boy Scout for almost 2 years.
I think I had as many as you, but stripped them all down and scanned them all. Wanted to give to my kiddos so they would have them. Nice shot of your hobby!

It's a great hobby but, difficult to finish even one scrapbook, for me, anyway! (I've got 2 finished, and a third with a few pages.) This makes an interesting design photo.

Sad but true...I have yet to scrapbook any part of my boy's lives and one will be 30 this year! I do have all of their memorabilia. Not sure what to do with it all!

My other hobbies have definitely had to take a back seat since starting this Project but I guess for the time being at least I'm enjoying photography more.

@susanalena @paulam @danette @paulaw I have 7 books completed, mostly from trips. I have a lot of partial books done, but mostly they are partial because it's multiple years of a sport or scouts. These are my scrapbooks that are started or waiting to start! LOL! I may never catch up!

now I don't feel so bad about my pile of albums in the basement waiting to get a scrapbooky placement of the BOXES and BOXES of family photos from grandmother, aunt, mother, myself...
