Cotton flowers and pods

I few weeks ago, I posted pictures of the pink flowers on the cotton plants and some of the pods. Well, they are starting to open. These plants won't be ready for harvest until mid-November.

@khirsch @salza The cotton is fluffy, but the rest of the plant but the pods called boils are quite sharp.

@dide You are welcome. We don't see this is most of the US either. Just in the South where it's very hot.
