Twin magnolias by homeschoolmom

Twin magnolias

Summer is upon us! The magnolias are in bloom. These giant evergreen trees found in the South are in bloom. Finally found one in a good enough location to get some pictures of the flowers. These two flowers were just opening and already they were bigger than baseballs. By mid-summer, the flowers will be the size of dinner plates. Ironically, they are quite delicate and only last about 24 hours in the heat.
They are so lovely, shame they are so short lived
