My youngest son was really happy to see grass again. He spends a lot of time in our yard and really dislikes all the weeds that pass for grass in NC. Ft. Sheriden, IL, right along the shore of Lake Michigan, just north of Chicago, is really beautiful. All three of my kids were born in southern Illinois and spent much of their childhood there, so they were home for the weekend.
