Another weaving diary shot.
This is the project I made with the dip-dyed spiral-wound warp from my last update.
Two nights' worth of weaving on a 12.5dpi 3D-printed reed in simple plain weave.
Final size after washing is 24.5cm x 197cm.
Warp: 320m (59.4g) / Weft: 215m (40.6g)
I'm pretty happy with it. The colour & weaving both survived the washing machine - which is useful to know but I might hand wash the next one.
I'd like to have another go using a tighter dent. The OH has just finished printing a 15dpi one for me.
Scarf weighed exactly 100.0g before trimming the fringe.
@northy Thanks. It's not as soft as I'd like but then I am using wool from this huge cone of basic weaving yarn I got in a sale to practice dyeing & weaving with. Trying to build up my confidence to use my own handspun - eek!
