045 - Lucy again in lectures, so I had a day out with Sue, her landlady, and Sue's dad Doug. We had a visit to CERN, and to the picturesque village of Yvoire. You will see more of CERN in a few days.
Yvoire is an and award winning medieval French village on the east shore of Lake Geneva. This is the chateau seen from one of the boats providing a ling across the lake.
The village is a really picturesque gem, and apparently in the summer is a mass of colour with flowers everywhere. Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.
Its funny that you should say spooky. Sue said that although she has visited Yvoire 25-30 times, she has never seen any signs of life in the chateau.......

It's a lovely village. I would love to see it with all the flowers in bloom.
