365 - Hard to believe, but here I am at the end of a fascinating year on 365 Project. I started the year with a new camera, and wanted to learn how to use it, and I have, but I've discovered so much more too - collages, HDR and tiltshift are technical examples, but I've discovered a whole world of new subjects too, and rediscovered much about the city where I live. I've also enjoyed the company of many different fellow photographers along the way, and I've received almost 4700 comments from over 250 different people. Thank you all for your kind and generous comments, they have been much appreciated and have helped me along the way. Without such support and encouragement it would have been impossible to complete the year.
So to my final shot of the year, with a look back over the four seasons.
Bottom right is a new shot which shows spring flowers in the Museum Gardens, in the centre of York.
I've really enjoyed this year, with it's ups and downs, new discoveries and challenges. It's a great year to look back on, but it's time to move forward again. I'll outline tomorrow what I will be doing over the next twelve months
Congratulations Ian! This is a wonderful way to end your 365 journey. I love the collage, each shot wonderful in it's own way. I've enjoyed following you and all of your encouragement along the way. I'm not far behind, I think that I have about 2 weeks left.
