049 - Advanced scientific research might not be everyones idea of a good time, but I can reccommend a visit to CERN, where they are searching for the Higgs Boson. (If anyone finds it can they return it to them ASAP?).
There are two visitor centres and both are well worth visiting. I found the section on the history of computing quite fascinating. When you see the timeline, it's amazing how quickly technology has advanced over the last 50 years.
