106 - So today the Olympic Torch Relay arrived in York. I was amazed by the huge numbers of people on the streets in and around the city centre. Many streets were closed to traffic, and it was still very difficult to get around.
Of course, the problem that such crowds create for those of us who want a photo of the event is a real challenge. Here is my attempt to capture the event and it's atmosphere. Your comments on my effort, both positive and negative, would be welcome
Thank you Marie. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the event. I'd gone just because it was an interesting challenge to photograph only to discover a fantastic atmosphere and massive crowds. It meant that I couldn't get between all the places where I wanted to get a shot, but it was great fun!
