292 - A slightly more festive shot of York city centre. Stonegate is always busy, with shoppers and tourists mingling as they wander along a road whose origin dates back to Roman times, when it was the main road from the south-west gate of the city towards the Roman headquarters building.
In the background, the low light of the Minster looms over the scene, while in the foreground, shoppers continue with their search for that elusive Christmas gift.
