It was an ugly pallet, but became a fun Christmas tree. Especially proud of Yelena who used the saw to make the star. Her older sister said it was an odd star, but it was mend that way. Her example was the star from the Dutch writer and illustrator Dick Bruna (more famous for "Nijntje" - Miffy in Englisch)
