Very inspired by Carla and Dave's double exposures so decided this is what I'd do today. Went around the garden snapping bushes and plants like mad then rewound the film and got my daughter to pose. There's a lot to learn here, I've definately got to think about placing shots. Too much sky in both shots. Critique would be very gratefully accepted

I quite like the sky, the open space, above the subjects. Gives the shot a bit of "air" and also fills the top third with a calming emptiness. Well done!
Coolers, think I would have cropped a little from the top, not because of the coloured bar, just to make the person 2/3 of the frame. I'm very OCD like that. But loving it none the less :)
@joa Thank you Johanna :) @steampowered Thank you Paul, my least favourite bit is scanning and processing so that's probably why film is my favourite medium @johnmnewman Thank you John :) @annick Thank you Annick :)
Very nice image, I like the way it progresses from a dense thicket of lines to ethereal nothingness at the top. I wouldn't crop it. Just out of idle curiosity, why did you push the film?
@automaticslim I wanted to underexpose as the film was being double exposed - hope that was right?? This is the cropped version - I didn't align the film right in the camera so the original was quite long
Of course, quite right. Halves the amount of light ... it hadn't occurred to me to do it that way. Ignore me, I'm not the sharpest print in the album! :-)
Haha! I've made a mental note of that one for future use. I had a strange multiple exposure right at the tail end of a 35mm roll last year - I knew what was happening so it's not really an accident, but the result was a surprise: http://365project.org/automaticslim/365/2012-12-05
I was out last week with my camera, and saw a shot and realised , as far as I know , that's one thing our new all singing, dancing and multi feature digital cameras can't do in camera. Years ago I lost some nice shots because of double exposure in film, but also got several shots that looked good. All by accident.
This is a lovely image.

Thank you all very much :) @vase Thanks Carla but I definately wanted to do some after seeing your double exposure :) @markp I think with film it's the anticipation as well - taking a shot then wondering if it's going to work. I also learn more from it too - there is no temptation to play around in photoshop, been spending the last couple of days thinking about doing more and figuring out ways of placing things. Digital does have some great things though - like changing film speed whenever you want, I find that frustrating with film :)

@mizhayz This is the cropped version! Seeing it now there is an improvement - thank you :)
