rays

Used a lomo slide film and cross processed it in a C41 kit, wasn't sure what I was going to get - I actually expected more dramatic colour changes but some came out really dark. This was one, will definately try this again, really thanks should go to Peter de Graaff for his experimental work with film and processing - he has been a huge inspiration since I started this. He was interviewed and you can read it in the blog!

Thank you for sharing your work and techniques - I doubt if I'd have tried this without folk who are as inspirational as you!

The green is real appealing. You must have so much fun experimenting with the chemicals. I appreciate your willingness to so much dedicate time to your art.

That came out all wrong..."your willingness to dedicate so much time to your art" is what I wanted to say :)

That is very dramatic and moody. I really admire all of you folks who do your own developing. I do need to try to learn about that part of the art this coming summer.

Thank you for the lovely words. This photo looks quite amazing. The greens many lomographers would die for, particularly with those rays and light. Seems like another world.

@joa Thank you Johanna - it's such good fun! You should see if anyone near you does courses - there's a magic in it for me :)

@ingrid2101 I'm going to try and see if dad still remembers how to do it. He used to develop all our family shots back in the day. :) And if not, then I know a art teacher who might be able to help... :)

@joa How fantastic to have a parent into this- have fun - I wonder if he still has all the equipment - excited for you !
March 12th, 2013
@ingrid2101 I think he might have - he never does throw stuff away. :D But I'll have to ask him a few questions. ;)

@jase_h @ingrid2101 Love this Ingrid The greens are so natural hard to believe it's a chemical causing this...

sorry to incl Jase in this but trying to view his project for a couple of days now and cannot find him and when I click it goes on void. Jase have you become Ross' Undesirable number one ?
