red door by ingrid2101

red door

Filler from the other week, chose it as i've come back to it a few times and it fits with March of Film theme of "door". Thank you all for commenting recently - especially when I said about the time constraints and trying to keep up on here. Knowing so many of you feel the same has helped immensely - I love this project and couldn't conceive of giving it up but I was at the stage that of wondering how I was going to manage , all your lovely replies made me ease up a bit!

Fab textures

A door with character, like the peeling paint and the feeling that nobody has passed over this threshold recently.

Think we all feel overwhelmed at times in this project. You should be very happy with your project not only because your pictures are incredible but because you are so experimental about how you achieve them. 365 would be a duller place without you! :-)

@rachelwithey @denidouble @johnnyfrs @sheilag Thank you all for the comments - very much appreciated
@gwhit123 Aw Thank you so much George, what a lovely thing to say :) I just feel guilty if I haven't managed to comment - even missing a day just feels overwhelming - how you managed after your nutty hours and looking after 4 children - I can't even begin to imagine :)

Gorgeous photo Ingrid. I agree with George @gwhit123. It would be a duller place without you. The cool techniques you use are inspiring and your photos are amazing.

PS- I found my old Olympus (film) camera in a box today with 5 rolls of film needing to be developed.. wish you were closer to develop them.. they must be 10 yrs old..

@mizhayz Oooo wow get them done!! How cool is that, I have a friend who has a friend ( yes.. really!) who put all their films in a dish and pulled one out at random to develop, I really love that idea but don't know if I have the patience, thanks for the lovely comment :)
