My first pinhole . I got a cardboard kit a few years ago and spent two hours yesterday constructing the fiddly thing. I put a roll of film through this morning and developed this afternoon - although a few came out I really need to slow down when it comes to thinking about doing things like this. I get so excited and wanted to get this developed asap- like yesterday. I will take the next roll a bit slower. Keeping it steady when removing the pinhole cover is probably the trickiest bit.
"Sharan" pinhole
Kodak 200 asa film
2 second exposure (ish)
developed in Tetenal C41 kit for 5 mins
Ooh, a proper pinhole! Looking charmingly, well, pinholish. :D And I do admire you for going through all that trouble with the film and everything. Hardcore dedication! :D
@spankyjane Thank you Mel, will definately be doing more!
@rikshore Thanks Rik- have a go, it would suit a graveyard perfectly! @denidouble Thank you Deni , much appreciated @jacjacs68 Thank you Jackie, thankfully there peace as there were so many pieces and some were tiny
How cool are you! Nice job! How do you focus with a pinhole? I remember making some camera at school using cardboard... can't remember much more than that though.
@orangecrush Thanks Jerry, will have more fun with this soon hopefully @masosy Thank you Kate- it was good fun, I like making things anyway @vase Thanks Carla- developing colour film is just as easy as b&w - different chems and higher temp. Wish i'd done it years ago. @fishy Thank you Andrew- I know that feeling only too well! @szyduck Thank you Steve !
@ozziehoffy You don't focus - well actually you do but that gets complicated as it depends how far film/paper is away from the hole and that determines what size the hole is. That's why I started with a kit!! It'a all done for you, I have a couple of coffee cans ready to be turned into pinholes too but need time!! @pflaume Thank you Lisa, just wish I had more time - I'm always impressed with how much time people spend on digital too. So much to learn @steampowered Thank you Paul! Glad you think it was successful :) @mizhayz Thank you!! Lots of fun :)
ooooooo. dreamy. get some of that kodak ortho in it, longer exposures on slower film, I wonder what effect that would have. It would at least slow your process down!!
