It feels like I'm denied access to a party. Standing outside looking in through the window at everyone having a great time. Pretty crap analogy as I detest parties. Looking through old iPhone photos and reediting old ones. This is from a derelict -ish cottage. Converted to b&w and a bit of TiltShift and white balance. Really trying to keep caught up on phone so I'm sorry if I miss you out. It's not intentional - I just usually open loads of tabs.
Me too, would much prefer a few whiskies in much smaller company!! Would love t be stood with you outside these places of yours! I adore the feel you give them, this is another fab example :-)
Love every thing about this image...I like the flowery wall paper but still has a creepy air about. That phone is going to ring loud and we are all going to jump out of our seats
It's the kind of shot where you can imagine a hand reaching up for the phone and the eye being led to the cut wire - very atmospheric! Did the transfer of your hard disk to the old computer not work?
@taz_o My son is anyway for he weekend :( I'm putting the laptop in to a shop tomorrow so need it all in one. My son also said those kind of repairs are often not economically viable. I was going to try and connect my scanner to old computer, we'll see. I just have to learn to be patient !!! Ha ha :)
Ha. We were just at my folks for the bank holiday and they had an old toy phone of ours in the toy box which of course looks nothing like any phone the kids have ever seen. Where's the touchscreen?!
I love that old wallpaper! it reminds me of my grandmother's house. Coincidentally, I just uploaded a rose shot that could be the inspiration to this pattern. Maybe I just have old fashioned roses and older folk on the mind... sorry for my ramblings. It's a fab find and image. So glad you pulled it out of the archives!
Parties are just so yesterday!! : ) Great shot - used to love dialling out on those old phones - took so long though! : ) Would be lost without my computer!
