Kind of rainy and drizzly, but a very soft feel about the weather today. Having rain come straight down is such a lovely feeling - very exotic. It's usually horizontal here. I walked along the coastal path for a while then the land lowered enough to get back on the beach so I thought I'd go back the low way - over stones and seaweed which was fine until I remembered about the burn that cuts across the beach. Too late - it would be getting dark if I retraced my path. Managed to chuck a couple of large stones to cleverly keep my feet dry. Except I slipped on the first one and straight in. Good thing about squelching is you stop worrying about getting your feet wet.
