herston boats

Slight etsoo - I've done so much to this I can't even remember . These old boats sit outside the Ivy covered hostel - I'd really like to live right next to a beach. My grandparents farm was right at the end of the land with cliffs and a beach. I took all this for granted growing up.
great one, both composition and processing . looks like a very atmospheric place, and you do fine things with it

takes photos like this, which is ok, but compared to my Minolta XD, a seventh of the price: http://www.flickr.com/photos/daveschoie/10844174065/

theres not much in it. apart from £350 price difference.

Fav. Great boat picture. Whatever you did it was the perfect thing to do.

I love the details in this, it looks like one of those trompe l'oeil pencil drawings , especially the grass at the bottom of the shot. have you tried shooting this on film?

Beautiful capture and processing. Love the feel. Fav. Reminds me of a time as a kid my mom took us to Asbury Park in NJ. There was this beat up, run down boat marooned on the beach. Nowadays, we don't see that too much. The cities, towns...they try to clean everything up. Make it look nice and septic, and call it progress. But things like this, they give the area character.
