A beautiful day and I decided late last night I would get out and go for a decent walk today. We drove 15 miles to South Ronaldsay then parked and walked right out to Hoxa Head where there are dozens of buildings from The first and second world wars. I need to find out more about the history of my home. You take it all for granted when you're growing up in amongst it. There was loads of writing - I hate to call it graffiti as a lot of it is of historical importance. There were names from the 30's right up til present day The light coming through one of the holes was just wonderful. Iphone processed in snapseed. Just had b&w film in my camera so hopefully they'll turn out ok
This is great, and too interesting to be graffiti. Lots of the old war time gun emplacements and the like have folks names in them. They tell their own story
