misty rocks colour corrected

An old polaroid but processed in Photoshop today. Found a great abandoned house , managed to find somewhere close to park the car. Took out new tripod and camera, walked through loads of mud and then bird shit in the house. Then discovered that the film rewind lever on my Nikon had broken off...how? Well I have a theory, I got a bit distracted at the ba on the 1st and ended up in several pubs with my husband. That was the last time I used my camera.... there's a moral to the story. probably.
so here's an old polaroid as I haven't figured out how to get the film out of my camera, am watching a couple of broken ones on ebay.
I took some photos with my iphone so may start using my other albums a bit more
Love this shot, it is very atmospheric, although I can't decide between slightly foreboding or peaceful. Wonderful either way. Fav,

Like the processing. The rocks seem to float on the water.

The rocks seem like hovering animals! Great texture!

The front one could be a turtle emerging from the sand. Sorry to hear about your camera. :)

Does look other worldly. Pubs and cameras - not always a great combination in my experience

Fav. terrific detail in rocks. Are you doing 52 rolls?

As others have said this is like it's from another world. It is rather wonderful.

Mac
Um, does the moral have something to do with drinking and disposable cameras? Like the foggy quality and isolation.

Pretty.

Those rocks are amazing - quite foreboding. The mistiness is totally appropriate. What a pain about your camera - hopefully a part will come up

Sorry to hear about the camera. This has such a great misty feel.

@peterdegraaff I've decided against it Peter, just won't be able to commit to anything more - it was kind of a relief when I made up my mind.I have a few plans for later in the year, I want to concentrate on them

Wonderful sense of depth and atmosphere.

Your polaroid stuff is killer. The color and softness add something almost magical to a scene that, if anyone else shot it, would be ordinary.
