postcard cyanotype

I emptied my press of last years flowers, I have no idea what this one is, some plant from the garden.. no idea. I saw this idea on pinterest, went down to the secondhand bookshop and got a whole pile of vintage postcards very cheap. I coated them with cyanotype chemicals and exposed in a UV box. The best results had 3 coats of chems and 45 mins exposure. It's developed in water so couldn't be simple. I haven't been commenting on here recently but plan to try and catch up soon.
That's awesome!

@stillcrappysailor This is such an easy process, I'll find a link - I use a recipe out of books but they're all fairly similar. you don't need a uv box - you can use that big yellow ball in the sky i keep hearing about ;)

@stillcrappysailor - this is the go to site for any alternative needs, so helpful.. you can buy a kit but they're expensive and as it's only 2 chems that you need I'd do it myself.please get in touch, it takes a bit of practise but so does everything

@ingrid2101 - yeah, if you could share the link it would be great. That big yellow ball in the sky has been hiding from us here, but it should be showing up in the next few weeks. Even if only for a few hours. :-)
