Hands free cycling, shadow selfie. by jack4john

Hands free cycling, shadow selfie.

The child is alive in there somewhere...
Am not sure whether I am more impressed with your photography skills or the fact you can ride no handed. A skill at the age of 50 I have never managed. Great shot and idea.

Nice whimsical image John - what I like best is that the perspective distortion of the shadow makes it look as if you are riding a penny-farthing bicycle!

Funny, I did almost this same shot (but I was actually riding) for my self-portrait in a class. Nicely done.

Very original. The handlebars seem curiously disconnected from you and the reflection. Great composition

Never been able to do this and I can't see me learning it now. Fab shot!

Great shot and processing. The sharpness and distorted length of the shadow give a surreal feeling.

You brave man. It's been years since I been on a bike, as my kid refused to ride, so I did not have to either. Great selfie shadow. :)

Love this and agree with @vignouse the shadow looks like a penny-farthing. There was a hill in the village that i grew up where you had to ride down with out touching the handle bars too be considered one of the big kids. Oh how times have changed!
