today was one awesome day! I went to get a sigma 70-200 lens. I was going with the sigma because of price mainly although it has a fairly good review. I went into my local camera shop as I had compared prices and they were the same all over. I happened to get the owner. He brought out the tamron and sigma because I said I couldn't get the Nikon. after a minute or two he said "I've got a deal for you." Pulled a Nikon off the shelf...it was a demo. You would never know. It is pristine. $1000 less than a new one...almost passed out...took it for a test shoot outside...couldn't even believe how it felt! I bought it. I don't know if he liked me or what but it was awesome! all 3 of my shots today came from this lens. I went to the county park and shot and shot and shot...it's beautiful : ) all shots were hand held too. I shot this fellow out in the open but liked this with the dock in front of him better! by the way I also ordered my new car today and my salesman gave me a bottle of wine.(you may see a photo of that soon) I guess the blessings just never stopped today " )
@flygirl@samzee@lisamccloskey@nicoleterheide@vera365 thanks everyone for viewing and commenting...trying to keep up...normally I have so much time but with three photo shoots in the last 4 days and Mother's Day right in the middle I am running a little behind. I do like the lens but I fear I will have to get a monopod to hold that big boy up!
