tried light painting the first of the columbines to open this evening. we bought our house 20 years ago and these showed up the first spring after we moved in. they were all over the property and even survived the extensive addition to the house we did when we moved in. they have come back year after year and I look forward to them. I have taken bunches to our weekly breakfasts to adorn the center of the table while we enjoyed each other's company and conversation. there are so many I can bring in an armful for a vase. they are lovely and when I move I will make sure to take some seed for our new house " ) I light painted these with a mag light!
love that you are taking them with you. i've transplanted mums that were dear to me, with every move... it's like bringing along an old friend. great shot.
well done with the mag light!
i know what you mean, i found the most wonderful spiderwort growing in my garden after moving here and look forward to seeing them again every year!
@lxxx@ethelperry@ethelperry@nicoleterheide@vstap@flygirl thanks everyone. they are some of my favorites...we have the bigger more colorful ones too but these are so old fashioned and sweet! will probably continue to work on the lighting part. mosquitoes were getting me last night so it was a short lived shoot!
