The American Cancer Society hosts several Making Strides events in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Lots of families who have lost their loved ones to the disease and lots of survivors...hopefully more of the latter. Please schedule your diagnostic tests and make sure to do self exams. Many of you know I lost one sister to breast cancer and have another who is a survivor. Be an active participant in your own health!!!
