A try-out at home for a project for my work. I’ve made a rack with plastic milkbottles and filled them with strawberry plants. The idea is that our clients can feel and taste the strawberries and the containers which they collected themselves are recycled. Not quite happy with the rack yet, so back to the drawing board. They empty bottles at the top row going to be filled with water and little plastictubes distribute the water to the containers below.
I liked the contrast between the plasticbottles, the wall and the plants.
Leuk idee. Wat ik me wel afvraag is of de potjes niet te klein zijn voor dit doel. Geregeld water geven en bemesten is een vereiste. Ik kan dit systeem van de aardbeikwekerijen uit de buurt. Die kweken ze in grote poten in een opgehangen goot . Makkelijker water te geven, te controleren, plukken en om slakkenvraat te verkomen.
This is one nifty project - hydroponic gardening on a small scale! And it should look quite decorative once the plants get going. Good for the contrast too. :)
@pyrrhula Geen idee, we gaan het zien, het zijn 2 literkannen dus ik hoop dat de plantjes gaan groeien. Ik hoop meer foto’s te kunnen laten zien. Bedankt Ferry voor je reactie!
