Blue Mountains by jankoos

Blue Mountains

From Sunday - at Paradise - Mt Rainier National part - looking towards the Tatoosh range. The three peaks of the Tatoosh range are from left - The Castle, Pinnacle Peak and Plummer Peak. Do you see the two people in the lower right?
Saturated a bit to enhance the blue.
Beautiful capture.

Gorgeous view of the mountains! Is there more snow this year than usual
In Washington?

@anazad511 @swilde @taffy @steampowered @redy4et - thanks for the lovely comments. @redy4et - Elizabeth - our snowfall is way down this year and it could have an effect on the water supply. Usually there is a lot more at Mt Rainier. This is at the 5,000 ft level. We have only seen a smattering in mid December in the lowlands.

Such a beautiful, clear view! We only saw the summit of Rainier for about six minutes during our three days at the mountain last June!

@archaeofrog - oh that's too bad, Katie - the weather over the mountain is temperamental. When I had family here visiting from the UK a few years ago they joked that there was no mountain. When we went to the visitor center it was socked in and finally they saw it two weeks later as we were headed to the airport. July and August are usually your best months to see it in summer.

@jankoos At least we were able to enjoy all the snow!
