Q is for Quilt

Letter “Q” in my alphabet series has to be for quilt. This is one of a few beautiful quilts that my aunt had made our family over the years. I never realized all of the time and effort that goes into quilting and of course it’s a labor of love. For that reason I will always treasure it.

Recently my daughter asked me if I could make her a quilt. She had like a dozen t- shirts that she really wanted to keep for sentimental reasons but not actually wear. I don't quilt but thought I could watch a YouTube video and try it. Ha! Steps 1 and 2 looked doable after that it was way above my craftiness level! 😟
