I struggle with this image. I have rarely photographed funerals when working for the newspaper, and never have I shown the deceased. Today as we were leaving for the funeral home my mom asked me to photograph my dad. I tried to keep it as an exercise in color and composition, but the whole time I kept thinking that it is not right for that to be my own dad in the coffin.
