A pair of house finches eating at my mom's feeding bowl. She has a lot of trees on the edge of her backyard, so I positioned the bowl where I could shoot from inside the house, through an open window, and have a dark, natural background. I used a Nikon D7200 and 200-500mm AF VR lens to get close and get a narrow depth of field.
