@ahleena The perspective was simply shooting from the shore of he lake using a 300mm with 1.4x teleconverter on a Nikon DX crop factor camera. This gave me the compression to stack the mountains behind the balloon.
@emrob@dianen - thank you both. It is so different from the other images I was getting that morning of the balloon right over the lake. It was a nice surprise when I saw it, and then when I went to edit in Lightroom I knew it was my shot for the day.
