Bridge view - edit

Almost any image can be made better by editing the tones and levels for content. Ansel Adams would spend days in his darkroom to get his prints right.

Oh yeah… what a difference editing makes… nice! I was talking to some other photographers about Angel Adams and the Zone system he developed. They had no clue what I was talking about:(

Editing always helps me produce a photo that "looks more like what my eye sees"!

@kvphoto The old masters are being forgotten.... I try to teach about Eddie Adams, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Mathew Brady, and Robert Capa... to name a few. But now the kids want to make Tik Tok videos (and shoot them vertically!!!! Yikes) and the photo class has been shut down.

@jeffjones that is a shame about the photo class… maybe it will come back next year if students return to school. Nice list of photographers you mentioned.
